PRESIDENT ADAMA BORROW FOR FIVE YEARS PROTEST

On Sunday 12 of January 2020 many people protested for President Adama Barrow to complete ruling for five years.

Majority of Gambians came out on Sunday afternoon 12 of January to protest against” three years jotna” and to also protest for President Adama Barrow to continue ruling till his time is fit to step down

Fatoumata one of the protester  from Brikama in an interview gives out her reason for coming to protest for Adama Barrow to sit for five years ‘I came out today to for this protest because so many Gambians are in favour for Adama Barrow to complete his  ruling to ensure and promote the peace and stability in the country” she said.

Another protester Malado  said ‘He didn’t complete his job as a president in the country and it’s not in the constitution of the Gambia that a president should step out of power after ruling for three years. Concluding by saying that the country is not financially stable to conduct election two times within three years.Abdoulie Jallow a resident from Bundung when asked a question about what will he do if he was giving a chance to talk to the three years jotna protestors, this was his reply,” I will tell them to respect the constitution of the country which says a president should sit for five years and they should also give chance to the constitution and president to complete and develop the country”  he said
